Ekaterina Egorova


Ekaterina Egorova, Ph.D., is a founder and the president of the “Niccolo M” Strategic Communications Agency, the leading Russian political consulting and public relations company.

Dr. E. Egorova’s agency has worked with 43 of the largest corporations in the world, including 15+ Fortune 500 companies such as Shell, BP, Gasprom, Lukoil, BMW, Microsoft, McDonalds, Nestle, Philip Morris, L’Oréal, Coca-Cola, and Deutsche Bank. Dr. E. Egorova has worked with successful presidential candidates in Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, South Korea, and Venezuela. She has advised political leaders in 23 countries around the world. She consulted and worked on political campaigns for Parliament, and at the gubernatorial and mayoral levels in 62 regions of Russia and 14 foreign countries. In 1996, Dr. E. Egorova was a personal consultant of Russian President Boris Yeltsin during his successful presidential campaign. In 2004, she was a personal consultant and adviser to Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko during his successful presidential campaign.

Her most outstanding professional achievements are due to her extraordinary experience in psychological profiling and management of public relations and political campaigns. Dr. E. Egorova also takes pride in, and credit for, the creation and development of the Russian concept of psychology of political leadership. Dr. E. Egorova has published ten books to date, among them “Political Advertising” (1999), “Political Consulting” (2002), “Games With Toy Soldiers. Political Psychology of the Presidents” (2003), “In the Fog of War: Offensive Military Communicative Technologies” (2010).

Dr. E. Egorova received her Ph.D. in Psychology from the Institute of Psychology of the U.S.S.R. Academy of Sciences; Ph.D. in Political Science from the Institute for the U.S. and Canadian Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences; M.A. in Psychology from the Lomonosov Moscow State University.

Dr. Egorova was the Chief of the Department of Advertising at the Russian National Research University Higher School of Economics. She was a lecturer at the Lomonosov Moscow State University. Invited by the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, she had lectured at Clark University, Columbia University, George Washington University, Harvard University, Loyola College, Northwestern University, Ohio State University, Stanford University, Tufts University Fletcher School of Diplomacy, University of Chicago, University of California (Los Angeles, Davies, and Berkeley campuses).

Dr. E. Egorova has appeared on the several radio or television stations including Voice of America in the U.S.,  the UK, the Republic of Georgia, Russia, Ukraine, Poland, and Latvia. Dr. E. Egorova is a member of EAPC and IAPC.
